Biography

2023 (Junior): 2022 CAA Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll… First Team All-CAA… Named Stony Brook Athletics Junior Athlete of the Year… All-Axcess Recipient... Ended his season ranked third in Division I and led the CAA with 39 stolen bases… Most stolen-bases in a single season by a Stony Brook player…. Shattered the Stony Brook all-time stolen base record, passing Travis Jaknkowski's career-mark of 79 stolen-bases with 91 career steals by the year's end… Produced a career-high in nearly every offensive category, including batting average (.333), conference batting average (.383), runs (58), hits (68), home runs (8), RBI (37), walks (26), and at-bats (204)... Led the team in runs, walks, stolen-bases, and hit-by-pitches (9)... Second on the team in hits, doubles, batting average, at-bats, and total-bases… Fourth in the CAA in runs and 14th in batting average… Began the year by reaching in 31 straight games and reached base safely in 49 of his 50 starts this season… Went 6-for-14 with two doubles, two home runs, and scored three runs in the series against UNC from March 3-5… Went 2-for-6 with three runs scored, double, walk, and RBI in their first-ever CAA win against Charleston on March 19… On March 24, he tallied a 3-for-5 afternoon with two runs scored, an RBI, and double in the victory over UNCW… Had a 3-for-5 day with a walk, double, RBI, two runs scored, and two stolen-bases in the win over Northeastern on April 15… In their first-ever CAA series victory, he went 5-for-14 with a home run, two doubles, four runs, scored and five RBI against Elon from April 21-23… Led the Seawolves to victory over Monmouth by tallying three hits, three RBI, two stolen-bases and home run on May 13… Recorded multi-hit game in the final five games of the season. 

2022 (Sophomore):  Played and started 46 games in the infield and outfield as the primary leadoff hitter…All-Axcess Recipient... Led the American East in triples (5)… One of three players in program history with 30 or more stolen bases in a season (31-33)… Led the squad in runs scored (44), triples, and HBP (13)… second on the team in average (.322) and OPS (.976)… Top five on the Seawolves in hits (56), total bases (95), doubles (14) homeruns (5), RBI (27), SLG% (.546), and OBP% (.430)… Launched first career grand-slam, scored two runs, and two stolen bases against Sacred Heart on March 2… Went 3-5 with two triples, double, three RBI, and stole a base in the win at Iona on March 30… Collected another 3-5 performance in the victory at NJIT, collecting two RBI, two runs, and stolen base… Season high four hits at home vs NJIT on May 20, as Fox went 4-6 with a triple, three RBI, and a run scored… registered a hit in 35 of 46 games and reached base safely in 41 of 46 contests.
 
2021 (Freshman): Three-time America East Rookie of Week (March 1, May 4, May 24) ... Doubled on first collegiate swing and started in left field in debut in Game 2 of Opening Day doubleheader vs. Sacred Heart on Feb. 26 ... Tripled and scored game-winning run in bottom of 10th in 6-5 victory in Game 2 vs. Hartford on April 3 ... Slugged first collegiate homer May 1 vs. Binghamton ... Delivered leadoff single and scored on squeeze bunt for walk-off win against NJIT on May 9 ... Made 44 appearances (43 starts), hitting .263 (35-for-133) with one homer, 18 RBIs and team-leading 21 steals ... Became fourth player in program history with 20-plus steals in a season, Travis Jankowski, Nick Grande and Brian Witkowski ... Steal total ranked sixth nationally among freshmen at completion of conference tournaments.

AT BALLSTON SPA HIGH SCHOOL: Won 2019 Class A state title, topping Long Island's Sayville High School and future Stony Brook teammate Eric Foster in semifinal ... Earned first-team all-area and first-team Suburban Council and named Perfect Game high honorable mention and to Section 2 Futures team ... Batted .413 with .587 OBP, .698 slugging percentage, 22 RBIs, 43 runs and 31 steals in 32 chances ... Led off all 26 games. ... As sophomore in 2018, hit .319 with eight RBIs and 27 runs in 23 games, all in leadoff spot ... Named second-team all-area, first-team Suburban Council and Perfect Game high honorable mention in 2018.
