2023 (Freshman): Made an appearance in 15 games throughout his freshman season… Made his collegiate debut at CSUN on February 17… Recorded his first hit and RBI at LIU on March 21… Stole a base and drove in two runs at Manhattan on April 18.

AT NUTLEY HIGH SCHOOL: Played four varsity seasons at Nutley for the baseball team… Captain as a junior and senior… Batted .439 as a junior with 5 doubles, 3 triples, and 12 RBI… Collected Second Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Essex County Selection as a junior… Selected to the 2022 Senior All-Star Game… Earned 1st Team All-Essex County and New Jersey All-Group 3 honors as a senior… Was a member of the National Honor society, Italian Honor Society, and National Student Leadership Conference.

PERSONAL: Son of Kim and Joe DeLanzo… has a sister, Sophia… Father played college baseball at DeSales University from 1991-1994.
