Josh Heinrich enters his sixth year at Stony Brook as the director of football operations and assistant director for player personnel.
Heinrich joins the Seawolves after he spent the 2018 season at the University of Maine. He served last season as the director of football operations and NFL liaison. Prior to that role with the Black Bears, he spent the 2016 and 2017 seasons as the director of player personnel and video coordinator at Maine.

Heinrich went to UMaine after a year stint with Fordham working within football operations, recruiting and video assistance. While at Fordham, Heinrich maintained and updated recruiting databases, provided visual marketing supplements for recruits, provided practice film and played a key part in recruit visits.
During his time as a student at the State University of New York at Cortland, Heinrich served three seasons as a quality control coach - video coordinator. As a member of the Red Dragons’ staff, he supervised a staff of 10 managers and was directly responsible for all film duties.
Heinrich has one season of professional experience after spending the 2013-14 NFL season on the New York Jets game day operations staff where he assisted with several promotional items and prepared the field conditions for practices.
Heinrich obtained his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from SUNY Cortland in 2015.
