Kevin Hyland was promoted to wide receivers coach in July of 2020.

Hyland arrived on staff in the fall of 2018 as an offensive assistant, after spending one year as the Tight Ends/H-backs coach at LIU Post. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Hyland played at John Carroll University (OH), before graduating from Kent State University (OH) with a bachelor’s degree in education.

He started his collegiate coaching career at Dordt College (IA) in 2008, before serving on the staff at Carroll University (WI), where he earned his master’s degree in education. Over the next five years, Hyland coached back at John Carroll University and Kent State University, as well Methodist University in North Carolina where he served as wide receivers coach, special teams coordinator and lastly as co-offensive coordinator.

Hyland, the son of Patrick and Cindy, resides in Melville with his fiance, Katherine and their dog, Piper.
