AT ETSU (2024-25): Barrett joins the program after playing at ETSU... He appeared in all 12 games in both the 2024 and 2025 seasons, posting a career-best 32 tackles in 2025 with 2.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, one interception, and one fumble recovery, while recording a season-high seven tackles against Tennessee... In the 2024 season, he totaled 26 tackles, one tackle for loss, and two pass breakups, earning a start at safety against Samford.

AT GARDNER-WEBB (2023): Prior to ETSU, Barrett was a member of Gardner-Webb's 2023 conference championship team... Redshirt as a freshman. 

AT KELL HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Coach Bobby May at Kell (Ga.) High School...Two-time all-region selection for the Longhorns...Totaled 35 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, and four pass breakups as a senior at Kell…Also forced two fumbles...Scored three touchdowns on offense for the Longhorns...Earned all-area honors from the Marietta Daily Journal in 2022.
