Nicole Bonacorso joined the Sports Medicine staff at Stony Brook University in August of 2025, serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with primary coverage for the football program.

Prior to Stony Brook, Nicole spent a year at the University of Michigan, where she served as the athletic trainer for the women's water polo team.

Bonacorso began her athletic training career as a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she completed clinical rotations with Wisconsin wrestling, Wisconsin football, and Stanford football.

Bonacorso earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon in 2021 and completed her Master of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023. She is originally from Santa Clara, California.
