Weber was promoted to the Associate Head Coach position, the former title of now-head coach Geno Ford, after three years with the program, arriving in April of 2016. He has recruited multiple high-character student athletes, including the 2018 America East Rookie of the Year and 2020 First Team All-Conference member Elijah Olaniyi, 2019 Defensive Player of the Year Jeff Otchere and 2019 All-Rookie member Miles Latimer.
During his time with the Seawolves, he was also responsible for player development of the guards and wings, during both the season and offseason workouts. The 2020 campaign saw success in that area, with the team setting a new 3-point record with 274 on the season.
He helped the Seawolves to the most road wins in the country in 2018-19, as well as the program's first ever win over a Southeastern Conference opponent. He also helped the team to a program-record 12 non-conference victories two years ago.
Before his time with Stony Brook, he was a three-year member of the Hoop Group team, spending the last 17 months as the Director of Hoop Group Elite. He was responsible for the recruitment and direction of 10 Top 100 College Basketball Exposure events throughout the Northeast and Midwest. The previous 11 months were spent as the director of team tournaments.
His first taste of Division I college basketball came in 2011 when he was the graduate assistant at the University of Akron, learning under head coach Keith Dambrot. He also served a graduate assistantship at the University of Miami during the 2012-13 season on a staff led by ACC and National Coach of the Year Jim Larranaga. The Hurricanes went 29-7 during that season and earned a berth in the Sweet 16 of that year's NCAA Tournament.
