Mike Chanenchuk

Mike Chanenchuk joined Stony Brook men's lacrosse as assistant coach and offensive coordinator in July 2019. He is entering his seventh season at Stony Brook in 2026. Chanenchuk arrived at Stony Brook after two seasons in a similar capacity at Sacred Heart.

He previously served as an assistant coach at New York Tech for two seasons. As a collegian, Chanenchuk was an All-American at both Princeton and Maryland. He was the 2010 Ivy League Rookie of the Year at Princeton, earning first-team All-Ivy League and USILA second-team All-America honors. While at Maryland, Chanenchuk was an All-American in 2013 and 2014.

Chanenchuk joined Major League Lacrosse's Charlotte Hounds after being selected 11th overall in the 2014 draft. He was twice named an MLL All-Star.

More recently, Chanenchuk was named a Premier Lacrosse League All-Star during the summer of 2019 as a member of the Whipsnakes. That December, he was voted as the 11th-ranked player in the league. He won the 2019 and 2020 PLL championships with the Whipsnakes
