High School: Norton was a kicker on the Syracuse football team for four seasons and a distinguished high school kicker on Long Island. In 2011, connected on 50-of-52 PATs and was 5-of-9 on field goals, including a 49-yarder … Also recorded 47 touchbacks … Hit 13-of-18 career field goals, including three in a playoff game to set the Nassau County record for the most points scored by a kicker in a playoff game … Also played varsity lacrosse, making two state championship game appearances … Was a long jumper and sprinter for the indoor track & field team as a senior … Member of the National Honor Society.
