Patrick Patti

Patrick Patti joined Stony Brook University in the summer of 2019 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, bringing with him extensive collegiate athletic training experience. In his role, Patrick oversees the athletic training coverage for the men's lacrosse and swimming and diving programs. He has also served as a preceptor for Stony Brook's Athletic Training Education Program and as an adjunct professor in the Stony Brook School of Health Professions.

Prior to his arrival at Stony Brook, Patrick spent six years at Marquette University, beginning as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer before advancing to the role of Assistant Athletic Trainer. During his tenure at Marquette, he served as the primary athletic trainer for the women's lacrosse team and contributed to the coverage of the cross country programs as well.

On the international stage, Patrick served as the athletic trainer for the Italian National Team at the 2025 European Men's Lacrosse Championship, where the team earned a silver medal.

A native of Ramsey, N.J., Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. He went on to further his academic credentials with a Master of Leadership Studies with a specialization in Sports Leadership from Marquette University in 2015 and a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel in 2023.
