Biography

2019: Played in and started five games before having season cut short due to injury ... had an assist in a 2-2 draw with Fairfield on Sept. 7 ... America East Fall Honor Roll.

2018: Played in 17 games, starting all of them...played a key role for the defensive unit...assisted on a goal in a 4-0 win over UMass Lowell on Sept. 28.

Before Stony Brook: Jakobsson has played at various levels with Thróttur Reykjavík FC for the last 17 years, playing mostly left and center back. He captained the program in multiple winning seasons, most recently making six appearances for Thróttur Reykjavík FC  in 2018. Following graduation from high school, Jakobsson earned a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Iceland.

Personal: Pursuing master's in finance.
