Biography

2020-21: Appeared in all eight matches (four starts).

2019: Appeared in 17 games, starting six ... dished out an assist in a 3-2 win over UAlbany on Oct. 26 ... took at least one shot in each of his last seven appearances ... had two shots on goal against Penn State on Sept. 2 ... America East Fall Honor Roll.

2018: Appeared in 12 games ... attempted two shots on goal ... logged 282 minutes

Before Stony Brook: Bonfils, a four-year starter under head coach Alec Mahrer at Beacon High School in Manhattan, helped guide the Blue Demons to a 56-9-5 overall record in his time with the program. Beacon High School went to three-straight city championship games from 2015-17, as Bonfils scored the game-winning goal in double overtime of the 2015 title contest to help the program win its first city title in over five years. He tallied 72 goals and 37 assists in his high school career, being named an All-City First Team honoree as a sophomore, junior and senior.
