2013: Recorded a shutout in a 1-0 overtime win against Albany with two saves in over 97 minutes. (Oct. 4)

2012: Started in goal in 4 matches...recorded two shutouts and had a total of 17 saves...had 6 saves in his second shutout of the season against Lehigh (Aug. 31)...recorded a shutout at Fairleigh Dickinson (Aug. 24).

2011: Appeared in two matches and made one start...earned a win after beating Temple 4-3 (Sept. 25).

Before SBU: Played one season at NC State and had a 5-1-0 record with a 1.68 goals against average...shut out nationally ranked Virginia as part of back-to-back clean sheets...also played on the U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-20 Venezuelan national teams and was the starting goalkeeper at the U-17 South America World Cup qualifying championships in Chile.

Personal: Carlos Miguel Villa Urbina...born Dec. 6, 1992 in Caracas, Venezuela...named to the Dean[apos]s List at NC State in back-to-back semesters...majoring in Economics at Stony Brook...wishes he could meet Albert Einstein.
