Biography

A former Stony Brook captain, Wixted, who starred for the Seawolves in the 2012 and 2013 seasons, rejoins the men's soccer program as an assistant coach.

Wixted, who transferred to Stony Brook from South Florida, led the Seawolves to an 11-win season in 2012 and a berth in the America East semifinal. He started all 35 games in his Stony Brook career.

A former ESPN High School All-American and member of the VSITampa Flames of the PDL, Wixted's coaching experience includes a stint as an assistant coach at Broward College and time training youth players in the Key Biscayne and European soccer clubs.
