Before Stony Brook: Grannum served as team captain for Forest Hills High School under head coach Daniel Hovsepian as a senior in 2017, helping lead the program to a 12-1 record. He recorded 32 goals and 11 assists over 30 games during his junior/senior seasons (2016-17).

Personal: Business management major and accounting minor.
