2024 (Sophomore): Did not make an appearance during the 2024 season.

2023 (Freshman): CAA All-Rookie Team Selection… Started in 11 of his 12 appearances… Recorded 17 ground balls and caused three turnovers… Fielded season-high seven ground balls and caused two turnovers vs. St. John’s on March 15.

AT SMITHTOWN EAST: Was a four-year member of the varsity lacrosse team and the captain for one year… Totaled over 25 ground balls, over 25 takeaways, six points (two goals and four assists) as a senior in 2022… He wore the No. 44 as a senior, which is chosen as an honor by the coaches and given to one player each year. The player is chosen not only based on lacrosse skills, but for his character, leadership, and for being a role model… 2022 All-County and All-Division selection… Played one year of football… In the classroom, he was a member of the Spanish National Honor Society and won the Business Achievement Award twice.

PERSONAL: Son of James and Kristin DeSano… Has one sister, Kate… Cousin Frank Tufano played lacrosse at Drexel from 2008-2012 and was a two-time All-CAA First Team selection… Majoring in business.
