Kendall Harris oversees academic progress of Stony Brook student-athletes with the women's basketball, baseball and women's tennis programs to ensure degree progress and maintain NCAA eligibility.
He joined the department as an academic advisor in November 2019.
He also serves on the Stony Brook Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Harris originally hails from Prince George's County in Maryland and attended DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville. He graduated from Delaware State University with a bachelor's degree in business management in 2016 and earned a master's degree in sports administration there in 2018.
Prior to Stony Brook, Harris served as an athletics academic advisor at Savannah State University, overseeing academic progress of student-athletes from seven sports.
He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
