Aisling Toolan joined the women[apos]s soccer program as volunteer assistant
coach before the 2010 season, having played in 18 games for the Seawolves during the 2007 season as a graduate student and was named the Stony Brook Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Toolan captained the U-17 Republic of Ireland national team, and notched 19 career caps as a member of the U-19 national team.  She represented Ireland at the World University Games in Turkey in 2005. In Ireland, she played club soccer with
Peamount United, winning national titles at underage level, and captained the senior team to a national final in 2006.  She also suited up for the Long Island Lady Riders of the W-league in 2006, and the Long Island Fury of the WPSL in 2008.
A native of Dublin, Ireland, Toolan graduated from Trinity College Dublin with her Bachelors in Physiotherapy, before completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Stony Brook in 2008.  She is currently employed as a full-time physical therapist at the Institute of Physical Therapy at Southside Hospital, in Bayshore, NY.
Toolan has worked with Massapequa Soccer Club for the past 2 years, identifying and developing talented youth players.  She currently holds her UEFA `B[apos] coaching license.
