Biography

2025: All-CAA Honorable Mention… Fifth Team All-CAA (Phil Steele)… Appeared in 11 games, tallying a career-high 30 tackles, one tackle for loss, two fumble recoveries, and eight pass breakups… Led the team in pass breakups and fumble recoveries, ranking 11th in the CAA in pass breakups… Tied his season high with two pass breakups and three tackles in the opener at San Diego State on Aug. 28… Recovered a fumble with two tackles and a pass breakup in the victory over Fordham on Sept. 13… Posted two pass breakups in the Golden Apple victory on Oct. 4… Tallied four tackles in the win over Towson on Oct. 25… Posted five tackles at No. 7 Villanova on Nov. 15… Recorded a season-high six tackles and a fumble recovery in the season finale victory over Bryant on Nov. 22.

2024: Appeared in nine games throughout the 2024 season, tallying 17 total tackles (10 solo, 7 assisted)… Recorded a tackle in each of the last five games… Posted a season-high four tackles and a pass breakup in the victory over Stonehill on Sept. 7… Registered a tackle for loss in the win at Campbell on Sept. 21… Tallied three tackles in the Golden Apple victory on Nov. 9… Added a tackle for loss at New Hampshire on Nov. 16.

2023: Did not see action for Stony Brook.

CURTIS HIGH SCHOOL: McGoy helped Curtis win a combined 17 games over the past two seasons and finished his high school career with eight interceptions. After a stellar junior campaign in 2021, he was named a Staten Island All-Star. Prior to the 2022 season, he was elected a team captain. In addition to football, McGoy also starred in basketball and track & field at Curtis.
