John Carpenter oversees equipment operations for men's basketball, baseball and women's soccer at Stony Brook.
He originally joined Stony Brook Athletics in August 2007.
Carpenter is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association.
With the baseball program, Carpenter has participated in five America East championships, including a run to the 2012 College World Series. The 2016 men's basketball squad earned the America East championship with Carpenter as a member. And he has been part of three America East titles with the women's soccer program.
Carpenter graduated from Western Carolina University in 2005 with a degree in sport management. His summer employment during that area included working with the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals and at the University of Colorado.
