Biography
2009:
Named to the America East Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll... dug 14 balls and served two aces in her first game as a Seawolf against Villanova (8/29)... recorded a season-high 16 digs in a five-set win over Brown (9/18)... had 15 digs against UNH (10/11)... finished with ten digs against both Long Island (9/29) and Columbia (9/12).
Prior to Stony Brook:
Played in 34 matches for Fordham University... recorded 165 digs, ten aces and 14 assists.
High School:
Was a four-year letterwinner at Westhampton Beach... named all-county (2006-08), all-tournament all-county (2006-08), defensive player of the year (2006-08), team MVP (2006-08), All-Long Island (2008) and first team All-State (2008)... as a captain her senior year, helped lead the team to the N.Y. State Final Four... set a school record with seven aces in a single match... played for the Long Island Fury (2006-07) and Long Island Volleyball Academy (2008) club teams... competed in the Junior Olympics (2007).

Bianca Rae Hernandez... born August, 11 1990... daughter of Brenda and Raymond Hernandez... her aunt Elizabeth Hernandez played basketball at Pace University... a business major.
