Biography
Claire Lindner is in her fifth season as an assistant coach at Stony Brook. Lindner[apos]s main responsibility is coaching the Seawolves defense by working closely with the libero[apos]s and defensive specialists. She also coordinates film exchange and off season conditioning.
Under Linder[apos]s watch, the Seawolves defense totaled 1,944 digs in 2007 (the most since 1998) helping the team attain a 24-8 record and become America East regular season champions. In 2008, the Seawolves totaled 1,344 digs.
Claire served as Libero and team captain for the Seawolves from 2003-06. As a senior, she was named all-conference second team and team co-MVP. Her 3.34 digs per set ranks third all-time at Stony Brook and her 1,360 total digs ranks fourth.
She graduated in May 2007 with a Bachelor[apos]s degree in history and again in December 2008 with a Masters degree in liberal studies.
