BROOKVILLE, NY - Phil Bouchard hit a solo homerun in the eighth inning broke a 4-4 tie, capping off a three-run comeback en route to a 5-4 victory for Stony Brook over New York Tech Wednesday afternoon. The Seawolves (24-7) broke a two-game losing streak to the Bears (11-17-1) and captured the season series, 3-2.

New York Tech scored two runs in each of the second and third innings to take a commanding 4-1 lead. The Seawolves answered in the fourth on Alex Trezza's two-run blast to close to 4-3. Gregg Foster's RBI double in the seventh tied the score at 4-4. Bouchard's homerun came with two outs in the eighth and was his fourth on the season.

Kevin Willi was outstanding in relief for the second straight game, pitching 2 2/3 innings and allowing just one hit while striking out three.
