The Stony Brook women's soccer team remains upbeat as it enters the weekend for a pair of conference games this weekend.
Coach Susan Ryan is proud of how hard her team is workinga and feels it is only a matter of time before it posts its first win. "Our team has remained positive and is working hard to overcome the adversity that we are going through right now," coach said. "There are plenty of key conference games left and we have a chance to do very well down the stretch."

SERIES RECORDS:On Friday, the Seawolves will meet Towson for the first time in the program's history. The Delaware-Stony Brook series is even at two apiece.
ROAD WARRIORS: Stony Brook is in the midst of a three-game stretch of road games, its second big road excursion of the year. The Seawolves played six straight games on the road in September.
WORKING OVERTIME: The Seawolves have played three overtime games in 10 outings this year - going 0-2-1 in those contests. The record for most overtime games in a season is four, which has been done four times (1990, 1991, 1992, 1998
TEAM NOTES: Beth Arikian has scored two goals off direct kicks this year . . . Megan Healey made her first appearance in a Seawolf uniform Monday night against Army
