KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Stony Brook women's soccer student-athletes Linn Beck and Reilly Rich were named United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Americans, as announced by the association on Thursday. Beck earned a spot on the third team for the second straight season, while Rich was selected to the second team.

In addition to being named Scholar All-Americans, Beck and Rich were also selected to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-East Region squad.

Rich represents Stony Brook's fourth-ever unique Scholar All-American recipient, joining Beck, Chelsie DePonte and Alyssa Francese. Earlier this season, Rich received All-ECAC First Team honors, All-CAA First Team recognition, United Soccer Coaches All-East Region distinction and was No. 85 on the Top Drawer Soccer Postseason National College Soccer Player Rankings. Academically, Rich boasted a perfect 4.0 GPA as a graduate student working towards her MBA, earning herself CSC Academic All-District honors.

Statistically, Rich produced a remarkable 2025 season in which she was the CAA's lone double-digit goal scorer, finishing with 15 goals, the 17th-highest total in the NCAA. She delivered in big moments, tallying six game-winning goals, which stands as eighth-most nationally. Rich's 37 total points in 2025 placed her 15th in the country.

Beck joins Francese as a two-time Scholar All-American recipient. Beck's national honor comes on the heels of another standout campaign in the midfield, where she earned a second straight CAA Midfielder of the Year honor. She was also named All-CAA and earned United Soccer Coaches All-East Region distinction. Academically, Beck boasted a 3.94 GPA as a Psychology, earning herself CSC Academic All-District honors. Beck contributed significantly to Stony Brook's scoring efforts with nine goals, the second-highest total in the conference.

To be eligible for Scholar All-American status, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout their career, play a minimum of 75 percent of games during the season of nomination and be an elite player as supported by playing honors (All-American, All-Region, minimum all-conference).
