RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook women's soccer was picked to finish atop the CAA North Division following a runner-up finish in 2025. Midfielder Jamie Keens and defender Abigail Roche were selected as All-CAA Preseason honorable mentions.

Keens played in and started all 20 matches a season ago as a sophomore, leading all field players in minutes played in 2025 with more than 1,700 minutes amassed on the pitch. Roche, a rising sophomore, earned All-CAA Third Team and CAA All-Rookie honors last season. The New Jersey native played in all 20 matches and started in 12 of the final 13 contests of the season. She finished sixth on the team with six points, leading all Stony Brook freshmen.

Keens, Roche and the Seawolves officially open the 2026 campaign on Thursday, August 13 at home against UConn. Conference play kicks off at home against Monmouth on September 20.
