Women's Soccer Heads To Northeastern Sunday

LOOKING FOR TWO IN A ROW: Stony Brook seeks its second straight road win on Sunday afternoon against Northeastern.

SERIES RECORDS: Northeastern owns a 1-2-1 series edge.

CLOSE, BUT . . . : The 1-10-2 record is not indicative of just how close Stony Brook has played its opponents this season. In 13outings, the Seawolves have played six one-goal games - going 1-6 in those contests.

NEWS AND NOTES: Lisa Mariano scored her first goal of the year last Wednesday against Yale . . . Kerri McCabe added her second assist of the Yale on Krisha Zagura's first-half goal . . . the Yale game marked the first time all year that SB scored more than one goal in a game . . .Beth Arikian continues to impress in restart situations. She set up Mariano's goal with a beautiful cross from a restart 35 yards out. She also had two goals this year off set pieces . . .

WORKING OVERTIME: The Seawolves have played three overtime games in 10 outings this year - going 0-2-1 in those contests. The record for most overtime games in a season is four, which has been done four times (1990, 1991, 1992, 1998)
