Freshman hitter Valerie Maloy had a match-high 19 kills, but Stony Brook (8-10, 1-1 America East) fell to Towson (16-1, 2-0 America East) Saturday afternoon, 30-15, 29-31, 30-16, 30-21. It marked the 10th straight victory for the Tigers.
Stony Brook hit .075 in the match and had its two-match winning streak snapped and heads to Drexel on Sunday to battle the Dragons at 1:00 p.m.
