Baseball Falls To Florida Atlantic, 7-2

Homestead, Fla. - Florida Atlantic erased a 1-0 deficit with three unearned runs in the second inning to go on to a 7-2 win over Stony Brook Tuesday evening in Homestead, Fla.

George Kearnes got the Seawolves off to a good start with a solo homer in the top of the first inning and SB led 1-0. However, FAU reached Stony Brook ace Chris Flinn for three unearned runs in the bottom of the second inning to take a 3-1 lead. The Blue Wave tacked on two more runs in the third and added single runs in the fourth and sixth innings to grab a commanding 7-1 lead.

Flinn yielded seven runs, four unearned, on six hits while walking six and striking out four.

The Seawolves are back in action Wednesday morning when they take on Bradley.
