Rich Graham had a three-run double in the seventh inning, helping Stony Brook (19-12) sweep Central Connecticut, 15-5 and 8-4, Saturday afternoon. It marked the eighth win in 11 games for the Seawolves.
In game one, Jeremy Carle (6-1) went 5 2/3 innnings, striking out six to get the win. The Seawolves scored nine runs in one inning to put the game away. Lee Reynolds (4-1) went six innings and allowed just two earned runs to get the win. Ed Murillo had a pair of hits in game one and had two RBI.
Alex Trezza homered for the 18th time, hitting a two-run shot in the first inning of the second game.
Stony Brook heads to Connecticut Monday for a 3:00 p.m. game to be broadcast on the Seawolves Radio Network.
