The Seawolves struggled offensively, collecting only five hits on the day. In game one, Stony Brook scored its only run in the fifth inning, when Jen Milito's base hit drove in Sam Foronjy. Stephanie Poetzsch (14-10) picked up the loss, giving up five hits and striking out seven.

Lindsey DeLaRosa (7-11) was credited with the loss on the mound, yielding just three hits while striking out three.

Despite the losses, Stony Brook concludes its season with a 21-21 record, the Seawolves' best finish since 1991.
