Tigers Send Women's Soccer To Fifth Defeat, 3-0

Princeton, NJ - Renalda Negron and Krista Ariss scored 1:11 apart in the second half, breaking open a scoreless game and helping Princeton defeat Stony Brook, 3-0, in women's soccer Tuesday night.

The Seawolves remain winless at 0-5-1 while the Tigers stay unbeaten at 4-0.

Negrom scored at the 62:52 mark and Ariss followed at the 64:03 mark to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead. A little more than 10 minutes later, Janine Willis tallied to put the game out of reach.

Joan Cundey, Alex Fiore and Heather Deerin each had assists.

Lori Nelson had eight saves for the Seawolves - eight in the second half as the Tigers outshot the Seawolves 15-6 during that time.

Stony Brook heads to Cornell Saturday afternoon for a 1:00 p.m match.
