The Stony Brook women's soccer team hits the road again this weekend for a Saturday afternoon tussle with the Big Red of Cornell. Kick-off is 1:00 p.m. on the beautiful campus in Ithaca, N.Y.
The Seawolves (0-5-1) look to earn their first win of the season against the Big Red which comes into the game with a 2-1-1 record after a 1-1 tie Wednesday night against Colgate. It is Stony Brook's second straight matchup with an Ivy League foe. SB fell to Princeton, 3-0, on Tuesday night.
Saturday's game is the sixth straight road contest for the Seawolves who finally return home next Thursday when they play host to America East rival Hartford. Stony Brook last played at home in its season opener back on August 31.
