Stony Brook, NY -- - Stony Brook (3-3) had four runners cross home plate before a single out was recorded and went on to a 15-4 victory over CW Post (2-4) Monday afternoon at Seawolves Field. It marked the fourth win in the last five meetings with the Pioneers.

Rick Graham led off the game with a solo homerun against Post starter David Rivera, marking his first of the season and the first of six times he would reach base on the day. Dwayne Whitker followed with a double and scored on Mark Taormina's single to left field. Lee Lipschutz then cranked his first homerun of the year. After all was said and done, it was 6-0 as the Pioneers came to bat in the second.

Stony Brook added three more in the fourth on a Matt Devins two-run triple and on a Rich Graham RBI single. Rivera was relieved in the fifth after giving up nine runs on seven hits.

The Seawolves added six more runs and led 15-0 going into the ninth inning. The Pioneers struck in the ninth inning on a three-run triple by centerfielder Omar Dufreny off reliever Dan Hoffman.

Kevin Willi (2-0) was again outstanding on the mound for the Seawolves, going six innings, allowing no runs on five hits. He struck out three and walked one.

Devins and Lipschutz each had three RBI on the day to lead Stony Brook, who travels to Hofstra on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.
