Betsy Thompson struck out seven Stony Brook batters and the host 49ers won, 3-0, Saturday afternoon at the 49ers Softball Invitational.

Thompson allowed just two hits in the game as the Seawolves fell to 1-2 on the season.

Stony Brook battles Charleston-Southern on Sunday at noon.
