Stony Brook, NY - The Stony Brook University Seawolves baseball team (26-22, 11-11 America East) will be headed to the America East playoffs in Orono, ME beginning this Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. Stony Brook is seeded fourth and will take on top-seeded Maine. Second seeded Vermont will battle Northeastern at 3:30 p.m.

The four-team tournament is a double elimination format with the schedule listed below.

Thursday, May 23 Game 1-- No. 2 Vermont vs. No. 3 Northeastern, 3:30 p.m.

Game 2-- No. 1 Maine vs. No. 4 Stony Brook, 7 p.m.

Friday, May 24 Game 3-- Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2, 12 noon

Game 4-- Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2, 3:30 p.m.

Game 5-- Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4, 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 25 Game 6-- Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5, 12 noon

Game 7-- (same teams if necessary)
