The Stony Brook football team hits the road for the first time in 2003 when it travels to Moon Township, Pa. to face Robert Morris this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The game will mark the first-ever broadcast of SB football on a commerical radio station as Island Talk WLIE 540 AM airs all of Saturday's action.
Backdrop: Stony Brook looks to get back to its winning ways after having its seven-game winning streak snapped by Monmouth last Saturday. Saturday's game against Robert Morris is SBU's first road game of the year.

Graham Steps Up: Clinton Graham, making his first start since the 2000 season, made the most of it by rushing for 119 yards on 23 carries against Monmouth. He broke off a 41-yard run early in the first quarter that set up Stony Brook's first touchdown. He last rushed for over 100 yards against Jacksonville on October 28, 2000.
Road Facts: Stony Brook was 3-2 on the road last season, its first winning road record since a 3-1 mark in 1996. The Seawolves have won their last two road games. SBU is 5-14 away from home since the move to Division I.
All Good Things Must Come To An End: Stony Brook's seven-game win streak was snapped last week as Monmouth earned a 20-14 win at LaValle Stadium. It was also the first defeat the SBU has suffered at its new home. It was a perfect 7-0 prior to last weekend.
A Mounter In The Middle: Mike Mounter returned to the starting lineup after missing the Wagner game with a knee injury and racked up a career-high 10 stops.
In the Backfield: DT Emeka Ibekweh is making a living in opponents' backfields. Last week, he notched three tackles for a loss, including a sack, and has a team-leading 4.5 TFLs on the year.
In The Polls: Stony Brook's loss to Monmouth caused it to slip to No. 7 in the Sports Network Division I-AA Mid Major Poll.
Thou Shall Pass: Stony Brook's pass offense checks in this week as the second-rated air attack in the NEC behind Wagner. Averaging over 197 yards per game through the air, the spread offense has produced a 60.0 percent completion rate.
Moriarty Under Center: In his first season as the starting quarterback, T.J. Moriarty is proving he can handle the role. He currently ranks second in the NEC in passing avg. per game (195.3) and is first in total offense at a 249 yards per game clip.
He's A Catch: Redshirt freshman Josh Anderson has made his impact felt a wide receiver early on in 2003. He currently ranks fourth in the league in receptions per game (4.67) and is fourth in the league in punt return average.
