STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The three-game series between Stony Brook and Towson University scheduled for this weekend (Mar. 1-2) has been cancelled due to inclement weather. The Seawolves were originally scheduled to play a doubleheader against the Tigers on Saturday and a third game on Sunday.

This was to be the 2003 season opener for Stony Brook. The Seawolves are now scheduled to play a three-game series against the West Virginia Mountaineers on Mar. 7-8. The first game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start, with a doubleheader on Sat. beginning at 12 p.m. Towson cancelled an earlier contest with the Temple Owls on Feb. 26.
