STONY BROOK, N.Y. -
The weekend series between the Stony Brook Seawolves and the West Virginia Mountaineers has been relocated to Bluefield, W. Va. due to poor conditions at Hawley Field in Morgantown, W. Va. Originally the Seawolves were scheduled to play West Virginia in a three-game series starting Friday night, but will now play four games starting with a doubleheader on Saturday at a time that is yet to be announced. Stony Brook will follow with another doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 12 p.m.
The four-game tilt represents the season opener for the Seawolves after cancelling their three-game meeting with Towson last weekend due to unplayable field conditions. West Virginia enters the weekend with a 3-4 record overall.
