Stony Brook, N.Y. - Senior Lee Lipschutz was named Athlete of the Week after a stellar weekend at the America East Championships.

Lipschutz exploded against Northeastern on the final day of the tournament, helping the Seawolves battle back from a 7-1 deficit to force a deciding game seven. Lipschutz blasted two home runs in the game, including a grand-slam shot, to help Stony Brook to an 11-10 win.

On the weekend, Lipschutz was 7-for-18 at the plate, batting .389. He collected seven RBI and posted a slugging percentage of .778. Lipschutz was one of three Seawolves named to the All-Tournament Team.
