In the nightcap, Brown broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fourth on a Courtney Jenkins RBI double that drove home Jaimie Wirkowski. The lead for short-lived for the home team as Laura Bradford's sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth brought home Sarah Hoffman to tie the game at 1-1. The Seawolves took the lead for good in the sixth. Kristen Brust doubled and two batters later scored on an RBI groundout by Marissa Servello.

Andrews made the lead stand up, scattering six hits and striking out two in seven innings of work. Jamie Neuner had a pair of hits in the win.

Game one was a different story for Stony Brook. After taking a 1-0 lead, Brown scored three runs in the bottom of the third to take control, knocking starter Sarah Hoffman out of the game. Stony Brook plated a single run in the fifth to slice to lead to 3-2 but Brown responded with two runs in the bottom of the inning to take control.
