Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sarah Hoffman picks up Stony Brook Athlete of the Week honors after a solid week on the mound for the softball team, earning a pair of victories after posting a 1.06 ERA while striking out 11 and walking none last week.

In Game 2 vs. Columbia, she earned the win after surrendering one run on eight hits while striking out a season-best eight batters in a 2-1 victory. In Game 2 vs. Manhattan, she tossed a three-hit gem, allowing just one run while striking out three.
