The Stony Brook baseball team was shutout by Seton Hall, 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon. The Pirates plated four runs in the fourth inning as Seton Hall improves to 5-9 on the year and the Seawolves fall to 0-10.

With one out and runners on second and third, Will Courter ripped a Mike Errigo pitch for an RBI double to give Seton Hall the 2-0 lead. The home team would tack on two more runs in the frame, as Robbie Hine and Matt Smedberg each doubled in a run apiece.

The Seawolves return to action on Friday, when they hit the road for a three-game series at Oklahoma State.
