Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook University freshman forward Colleen McKenna (Manorville, N.Y.) was named Stony Brook Athlete of the Week on Tuesday after recording three goals and two assists in leading the SBU women's soccer team to back-to-back conference victories last week.

McKenna scored the game-winner with 5:51 remaining in the Seawolves 3-2 victory over Binghamton on Thursday and then scored two goals and added an assist in Stony Brook's 5-0 victory over Maine on Sunday. McKenna currently leads the Seawolves with eight goals and 19 points.

With the two victories last week, Stony Brook secured the No. 2 seed in the America East Championships and will host the winner of Thursday's first-round game between No. 3 New Hampshire and No. 6 Binghamton on Sunday, Nov. 2 at LaValle Stadium. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
