Stony Brook, N.Y. - In the midst of a seven-game homestand, the Stony Brook baseball team takes on the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights on Wednesday at Joe Nathan Field. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.

Senior right-hander Tyler Johnsonearned his 26th career victory to set the school's all-time wins record as the Stony Brook University baseball team rolled to a doubleheader sweep of the New York Tech Bears on Sunday afternoon at Joe Nathan Field. The Seawolves won game one 6-0 before cruising to a 10-1 victory in game two.

Stony Brook leads the America East in ERA, batting average and fielding percentage ... the Seawolves are 14th in the nation in earned run average and 15th in fielding percentage ... Johnson pitched 5.0 shutout innings in his win on Sunday ... he has allowed just two earned runs in 27.0 innings this season ... Jon Lewis `05 and Nick Tropeano held the previous record for all-time wins ... junior Willie Carmona is currently on a 17-game hitting streak ... junior second baseman Maxx Tissenbaumleads the America East and is 26th in the country in batting average (.420) ... he is also first in the conference in slugging percentage (.654), hits (34) and total bases (53). 

Scouting Fairleigh Dickinson
The Knights enter after taking three of four from Sacred Heart over the weekend. FDU is fourth in the conference standings through 12 games. Eric Anderson is hitting .410 to lead the FDU offense. The Knight pitching staff is allowing almost six runs per game. The Seawolves defeated Fairleigh Dickinson, 17-5, earlier in the season.
