Stony Brook, N.Y. -
Stony Brook junior center fielder Travis Jankowski's outstanding 2012 season continues to garner attention from national media outlets as Tuesday he was featured in a story that appeared on MLB.com.
Named to the midseason watch list for the Golden Spikes Award and named the MVP of 2011 Cape Cod Summer League, Jankowski is also featured in the latest issue of Ultimate Athlete Magazine.
Jankowski ranks among the nation's top 25 in batting average (.393), stolen bases (32) and runs scored (55) in addition to leading the nation with nine triples. He leads the America East in each of those categories.
Jankowski is not the only Seawolf to receive national attention as junior second baseman Maxx Tissenbaum was featured in the latest issue of Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
