Kickoff: The Stony Brook football team will wrap up non-conference play Saturday at Colgate.  The Seawolves are coming off an exciting 21-13 win over Bryant before a sell-out crowd of 11,224, the biggest in school history, at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.

Mike Solano (PBP) and Curt Hylton (color) will call the action on the new home of Stony Brook Football, Champions Radio.  Fans can listen to the game on 107.1 and 96.9 as well as online at ChampionsRadio.com.

Opponent: Colgate earned its first win of the season last week with a 41-20 victory over Cornell. Trailing 20-17 at halftime, the Raiders shutout the Big Red, 24-0, in the second half.  Junior Jimmy DeCicco, a wide receiver, had 146 yards on the ground, including a 77-yard touchdown run.  Junior Mike Armiento had an 85-yard interception return for a touchdown.  Senior quarterback Gavin McCarney is the Raiders' top rusher with 340 yards.  McCarney has passed for 733 yards and four touchdowns.  Armiento is the team's leader with 48 tackles and three interceptions.

Series: Stony Brook leads the all-time series, 2-1, with each team winning on its home field. The Seawolves led 17-0 minutes into the second quarter, but Colgate rallied to lead 21-17 after scoring three touchdowns in 4:30.  Miguel Maysonet's one-yard touchdown with 3:31 left in the fourth gave Stony Brook a 32-31 lead.  Stony Brook won the first meeting, 42-26, in 2008.  Colgate evened the series after a 23-13 victory in 2009.
