Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook will bid for its first conference win when they host Binghamton on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Scouting Binghamton

Binghamton is 5-7-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in conference play. They are led by a contingent of dangerous players in the attack, which is why they have scored 18 goals in 13 games. Katie O’Neil and Katherine Corcoran are tied-for-second in the America East in shots with 46.  O’Neil and Stephani Church both have three goals and an assist on the season, good for a team-leading seven points, with Emily Nuss and her two goals and three assists. Corcoran and Jacqui Rice follow with two goals and an assist.

All-Time Series

The Seawolves are 9-3-2 all-time against the Bearcats and have won the last three meetings, including a 2-0 victory last season.

It’s Good to be Good

Freshman forward Maddie Good (Palmyra, Pa.) continues to impress in her first season with the #Seawolves. Her 59th minute goal against UMBC preserved a critical point on the road against the defending America East conference champion and moved her to second on the team with eight points on three goals and two assists.

Center Back Tandem

Junior Danielle Fuller (Staten Island, N.Y.) and sophomore Hannah Groth (Cedarburg, Wis.) have stepped up admirably to fill the vacated center back positions after an injury to Priscilla Wiggins (Princeton, N.J.) and the transfer of Stella Norman before the season. Fuller and Groth have started all 12 games and lead the team in minutes played.
