Priore announces 2015 schedule

Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook football team will play six games at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium as head coach Chuck Priore announced the team's 2015 schedule Tuesday.

The Seawolves will host Central Connecticut and Howard in non-conference games and New Hampshire, Towson, Elon and Albany in CAA Football action.

Stony Brook's non-conference road game will be on Thursday, September 3 at FBS Toledo in the season opener for both schools.

The home schedule gets underway on September 12 against the Blue Devils. Stony Brook is 8-3 all-time, including two straight wins, against Central Connecticut. New Hampshire, the top seed in this year's Division I Football Championship, will visit Stony Brook on September 19 in the CAA opener.

Stony Brook then will head to Virginia for games against William & Mary and James Madison.

After a bye week, the Seawolves' will host Towson, travel to Maine and welcome Elon to Long Island.

Stony Brook will host Howard in the non-conference finale on November 7. It will be the first meeting between the two teams and the first against a school from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC).

The road schedule will wrap up at Rhode Island and the regular-season finale is at home against Albany.

Game times will be announced at a later date.
