#Seawolves welcome Fordham Sunday

The #Seawolves will try to run their home record to 3-0 when they welcome the Fordham Rams (6-2) to Lavalle Stadium on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Scouting Fordham

The Rams saw their six-game win streak snapped on Friday in a 3-1 loss to Providence. During the win streak, they allowed just two goals and posted four shutouts in six games. Jessica Widmann leads the team with eight points on three gaals and two assists, folllowed by Kate McDonnell and her two goals and two asssists. Goalkeeper Ally White ranked 19th in the nation with a .444 goals against average entering Friday's match with the Friars. 

Red-Hot Rosenfeld

After not seeing any action in the #Seawolves first four games, freshman Gabi Rosenfeld (Holland, Pa.) has emerged as a valuable asset off the Stony Brook bench. The freshman midfielder has played in Stony Brook’s last four matches, scoring a goal against Fairfield on Sep. 14 and posting a team-high three shots in the Seawolves last outing against St. John’s. She has registered six shots in four games.

Dangerous Devereaux

Junior Tessa Devereaux (Fayetteville, N.Y.) has played conductor to the Seawolves attack all season long. Her team-leading 21 shots rank fourth in the America East and her four points on a goal and two assists, leads the team. Her next assist, which will be the 12th of her career, will move her into a tie-for-eighth in school history.
